Week #6 - Rutgers at Nebraska

October, homecoming, spooky season, week six, whatever you call it, we’re just about halfway through the season. For everyone watching at Shiner’s, that means more time on the patio instead of in the AC, a chance to visit ACL, and pumpkin-spice beer (if you bring your own pumpkin spice).

At the start of the season our schedule looked suspiciously easy, and now we’re finding out that may have been wrong. We face an undefeated Rutgers team this week, and likely an undefeated Indiana team in two weeks. As long as we stop trying to kick field goals, I think we can pull this one off.

Week #5 Recap

If you were worried the crowd would be quiet and diminished after the Illinois loss, you were wrong. The dedication of this crowd is more impressive every week. We had to find novel reasons to cheer for the first three quarters, but our patience was rewarded.
